Be Careful With Your Money Keeping track of your spending money is important. Coins and bills can fall out of your pocket or end up in the wash if you forget they are there. If this happens, someone in your family may think the money is theirs. If you leave it sitting out, other people may make a mistake and think it belongs to them. That's why it's a good idea to keep your money in a safe place like a piggy bank or your backpack.
